By accessing or using fixa11y ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
fixa11y is a software tool that analyzes React components and suggests modifications to improve accessibility compliance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA and U.S. Section 508 standards. The Service provides automated suggestions and is not a substitute for professional accessibility auditing, legal review, or compliance certification.
3. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating all code generated or modified by the Service before using it in any production environment. The Service provides assistance — not guarantees of compliance. You must not submit code containing secrets, credentials, API keys, or proprietary information you are not authorized to share. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable laws and regulations.
4. No Guarantee of Compliance
The Service is designed to assist with accessibility improvements, but it does not guarantee that output code will be fully compliant with any accessibility standard, law, or regulation. Automated tools cannot catch every accessibility issue. You should supplement the Service with manual testing, assistive technology testing, and professional review as appropriate.
5. Prohibited Use
You may not use the Service to: (a) submit code you do not have the right to share; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt the Service; (c) exceed your plan limits through automated means or abuse; (d) use the Service for any illegal purpose; (e) resell or redistribute the Service without authorization.
6. Billing and Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or the billing portal. Upon cancellation, you retain access to your paid plan until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, fixa11y and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from your use of the Service or any code generated by it.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the code you submit to the Service. Output code generated by the Service is provided for your use without restriction. The Service itself, including its design, branding, and underlying technology, remains the property of fixa11y.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to the Service or other users.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
